Principal

Richard Barkhordarian, Esq. has been practicing law since 2004. A graduate of Pepperdine University School of Law, he began his career as a business litigator. Over time, however, Richard found that this path lacked the personal fulfillment he was seeking. Wanting to make a more meaningful impact, he chose to dedicate the rest of his legal career to helping those he believed needed it most—people who were too often taken advantage of.

On April 1, 2012, he founded the Barkhordarian Law Firm, PC, with a focus on representing injured workers in claims against their employers.

As his practice grew, Richard began to see a troubling pattern. Employers were not only treating workers as disposable, but in many cases were also ignoring labor laws, creating even greater hardship for employees. In response, and as part of his ongoing commitment to advocate for working people, Richard established an Employment Law Section at the Barkhordarian Law Firm on January 1, 2019. This expansion allows the firm to handle clients’ employment disputes entirely in-house, while continuing to hold employers accountable and ensure they operate within our state’s laws.
